Original lithographic poster with vibrant art by Jules Cavaillès from 1964 made in relation to the yearly carnival in Nice. Nice carnival is a loose party where everything is allowed, even making fun of everything and everyone under the guise of costumes and masks and has been held since the Middle Ages, as a prelude to 40 days of fasting.

Jules Cavaillès was a French painter known for his colorful and vibrant works, often depicting scenes of daily life, landscapes, and still lifes. He had a particular fondness for depicting the beauty of the French countryside, including scenes from the South of France. His works often exuded a sense of joy and optimism. He was associated with various art movements, including Post-Impressionism, Fauvism, and later, a style that combined elements of abstraction and representation.

The poster is framed with a hand painted light blue frame made with an organic wavy profile and sat up with light rosy passepartout.
