Giclee print after the original lithograph from approx. 1955 titled "Legende børn" (kids playing).

It is framed in a hand-painted frame, set up with “float”

The motif is from Vesterbro back around the 1930s and 1940s at “Hedebygade”

Folmer Bendtsen was a Danish painter who became known as the painter of the working class. In his paintings, he illustrated the life of the workers in Nørrebro, Sydhavnen and especially in the Northwest Quarter, where he was living. His works can be seen in a number of Danish museums, e.g. Statens Museum for Kunst, ARoS and Nordjylland’s Art Museum. He is also the father of Kristine Bendtsen, who is behind Bendtsens at Danas Plads 10.

The reprinted lithograph is signed in the print, and made on watercolor paper 310 g.

The piece is framed with a hand painted green frame and with light yellow passepartout.
