Original lithographic poster with artwork by Georges Akopian for exhibition of his recent works at Galerie Bruno Basse in Paris 1961.

Georges Akopian was a French painter of Armenian descent, known for his contributions to the School of Paris, a group of artists working in Paris during the 20th century. Born in Bulgaria, Akopian moved to Paris, where he spent much of his life immersed in the vibrant artistic community of the city. Akopian's artistic style was characterized by its rich colors, bold brushwork, and expressive compositions. He was particularly known for his landscapes, still lifes, and figurative works, which often captured scenes from everyday life with a sense of intimacy and warmth.

The poster is framed with a hand painted ocher yellow frame, very dark blue passepartout and a deep red background.
