The poster states “Vive la revolution pasioné de l'intelligence creative” -(long live the passionate revolution of creative intelligence).

Asger Jorn was a Danish painter, sculptor, ceramic artist, and one of the founding members of the COBRA movement. The movement aimed to break away from traditional artistic conventions and embraced spontaneity, intuition, and a childlike imagination. Born in Vejrum, Denmark, Jorn played a crucial role in the development of European art after World War II and was a prominent figure in the avant-garde art scene. Jorn studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen but was soon drawn to the avant-garde movements emerging in Europe.

Jorn's work is often characterized by a dynamic and expressive style, marked by bold colors and vigorous brushstrokes. He was interested in the intersection of art and politics, and his works often carried social and political themes. Jorn was also influenced by various artistic styles, including surrealism and abstract expressionism.

The poster is framed with a hand lacquered frame with a hand silvered inner edge, with dark deep purple passepartout and a black background.
