Original lithographic poster with art by Robert Louis Antral exhibition made for exhibition at Galerie Notre Dame in Paris 1960. The exhibition was titled “Attraits de Paris” (which translates to Attractions of Paris) and showcased several artist.
Robert Louis Antral was a French painter and etcher celebrated for his lively depictions of Parisian life. Born in Châlons-sur-Marne, he became known for his expressive linework and atmospheric etchings of city streets, harbors, and everyday scenes. In 1926 he won the Prix Blumenthal and was later named a Chevalier of the Légion d’Honneur. His works capture the charm and character of early 20th-century France and are held in major French museum collections today.
The piece is framed with a hand lacquered narrow frame and with light gray passepartout.
