The work is a collaboration between Willumsens Museum in Frederikssund and Richard Mortensen back in 1976.

Mortensen was a Danish abstract painter known for his contributions to the Concrete and Constructivist art movements. He was a prominent figure in the development of non-figurative art in Denmark and played a significant role in the international abstract art scene. Many of Mortensen's paintings feature geometric shapes, precise lines, and a controlled use of color. His compositions often convey a sense of order and balance, typical of Constructivist and Concrete art.
