Hanne Varming lived from 1939 to 2022. She was a beloved Danish sculptor known for her warm, human-centred figurative sculptures, often placed in public spaces across Denmark. Her work focuses on everyday people like children, elderly figures and families which she portrayed with empathy, humour, and quiet dignity.
