The print by the famous Danish author and painter Hans Scherfig (1905–1979), is titled "Ved skovsøen" ("By the Forest Lake"). It was published or distributed by the major Danish publishing house Politikens Forlag in 2005 to mark the centenary of Scherfig's birth.

"Ved skovsøen" typically depicts peaceful prehistoric or tropical animals (often tapirs, rhinoceroses, or elephants) sitting by a calm lake in an untouched, lush jungle. It represents his hallmark theme of longing for a pure, uncorrupted world.

Framed with an oak frame placed on a bright blue background.
