The original gouache is made in 1984.

Pierre Lacroux (1909–1993) was a French modernist painter and illustrator associated with mid-crntury French art movements, including Fauvism and Cubist-influenced modernism.

He was heavily inspired by Fauvism—sharing stylistic notes with masters like Henri Matisse and Pierre Bonnard—as well as structured post-cubist landscapes.

He was working in oils, gouache, watercolors, and felt-pen sketches.

With an antique frame in original collars placed on a creme - colored background.
