Original lithographic poster with art by Edmond Céria for exhibition at Galerie André Pancetti in Paris 1968.
Edmond Céria was a French painter celebrated for his lyrical landscapes, luminous still lifes, and atmospheric urban scenes. He he studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Geneva and later at the Académie Julian in Paris. From his early exhibitions at the Salon des Indépendants in 1908, Céria developed a style rooted in the traditions of Corot and Cézanne, blending sensitivity to light with a strong sense of structure.
His paintings capture the changing atmospheres of places he knew and loved like the quays of Paris, the harbors of Marseille, the villages of Provence, and the rolling landscapes of Tuscany. Whether depicting bridges over the Seine, nudes, or Mediterranean vistas, his work is marked by clarity, harmony, and a poetic response to light.
The poster is framed with a hand silvered frame and is placed on a light background.
