Hans Erni was a prolific Swiss artist renowned for his distinctive fusion of modernist aesthetics, classical themes, and socially engaged subject matter. Over the course of his remarkably long career, which spanned more than eight decades, Erni produced thousands of works ranging from paintings and drawings to murals, lithographs, stamps, ceramics, and even coins.
