Reginald Shedlin was an artist active in mid-20th-century Paris whose work offers glimpses into the delicate and luminous world of postwar Parisian art. He had British parents and was born in Bayonne 1908. Passionate about drawing, he moved to Paris upon obtaining his baccalaureate and enrolled in the School of Decorative Arts. His work reflects the artistic milieu of Paris in the 1950s, a period rich in modernist experimentation.

The poster is framed with a hand painted blue frame, with lighter blue passepartout, and placed on an olive green background.
