Original lithographic poster with art by François-Xavier Lalanne made in relation to an exhibition at La Hune in Paris 1978.
François-Xavier Lalanne was a French sculptor celebrated for his imaginative animal-inspired works that blur the line between art, design, and poetry. Together with his wife, Claude Lalanne, he formed the legendary duo “Les Lalanne,” whose creations brought playfulness and wonder into modern art.
He had a lifelong fascination with animals, seeing them as both mythical and everyday presences. His works often transformed these creatures into whimsical yet functional objects.
The piece is framed with a hand painted bright green frame, ligt passepartout, and is placed on a light rosy background.
